The Lead Camera Engineer will take the lead in the development of vision systems for autonomous vehicles, overseeing areas such as camera hardware and software integration, image processing, and object recognition. This role will drive the development of high-performance vision systems that play a key role in autonomous driving technology.
Responsibilities

- 소프트웨어, 하드웨어 및 차량 시스템과 협력하여 카메라 시스템의 효과적인 통합
- 최적의 성능과 신뢰성을 위해 카메라 센서, 렌즈 및 관련 하드웨어 선정
- 카메라 캘리브레이션
- 캘리브레이션 프로세스 및 도구에 대한 모범 사례를 정의하고 구현하여 일관성과 신뢰성을 확보
- 성능 최적화
- 이미지 품질, 프레임 속도 및 지연 시간을 고려하여 카메라 시스템의 성능 최적화
- 다양한 조명 및 기상 조건에서 성능 요구 사항을 충족할 수 있도록 시스템 소프트웨어, 자율주행 개발팀과 협력
- 품질 보증 및 안전
- 카메라 시스템이 업계 안전 표준 및 규제 요구 사항을 준수하도록 보장
- 카메라 시스템에 대한 테스트 프로토콜을 정의하고 실험실 테스트, 도로 주행 테스트 및 다양한 환경 조건에서 검증 수행
- 품질 보증 팀과 협력하여 현장에서 발생하는 카메라 관련 문제를 식별하고 해결
- 팀 리더십
- 카메라 엔지니어 팀을 이끌고, 혁신적이고 협력적인 환경을 조성하며 지속적인 개선 주도
- 일정, 산출물 및 우선순위를 관리하여 카메라 관련 프로젝트가 성공적으로 실행되도록 관리.
- Lead Camera System Development
- Lead the design and development of camera hardware and software systems for autonomous vehicles
- Integration with Software, Hardware, and Vehicle Systems
- Collaborate with software, hardware, and vehicle teams to ensure effective integration of camera systems
- Selection of Camera Sensors, Lenses, and Related Hardware
- Select camera sensors, lenses, and associated hardware to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- Camera Calibration
- Define and implement best practices for calibration processes and tools to ensure consistency and reliability
- Performance Optimization
- Optimize camera system performance considering image quality, frame rate, and latency
- Work with system software and the autonomous driving development team to meet performance requirements under various lighting and weather conditions
- Quality Assurance and Safety
- Ensure camera systems comply with industry safety standards and regulatory requirements
- Define testing protocols for camera systems and perform validation through laboratory tests, road tests, and under various environmental conditions
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance team to identify and resolve camera-related issues in the field
- Team Leadership
- Lead the camera engineering team, foster an innovative and collaborative environment, and drive continuous improvement
- Manage schedules, deliverables, and priorities to ensure successful execution of camera-related projects
Qualifications
- 컴퓨터 공학, 전자 공학 또는 관련 분야의 학사 학위 이상
- 카메라 시스템 설계, 개발 및 통합에서 7년 이상의 경력
- 자율주행 차량의 맥락에서 이미지 처리 알고리즘 및 컴퓨터 비전 기술에 대한 경험
- 카메라 캘리브레이션, 테스트 및 문제 해결 경험.
- 자동차 카메라 시스템과 관련된 업계 안전 표준 (ISO 26262, ASIL 등) 및 규제 요구 사항에 대한 이해
- 리더십 및 팀 관리 경험
- 우수한 문제 해결 능력과 분석적 사고
- 영어로 원활한 의사소통이 가능하신 분
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field
- Over 7 years of experience in camera system design, development, and integration
- Experience with image processing algorithms and computer vision technologies in the context of autonomous vehicles
- Experience in camera calibration, testing, and troubleshooting
- Understanding of industry safety standards (ISO 26262, ASIL, etc.) and regulatory requirements related to automotive camera systems
- Leadership and team management experience
- Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
- Fluency in English communication
Preferred Qualifications

- 머신러닝 및 딥러닝을 활용한 객체 인식 알고리즘 개발 경험
- 자동차 등급의 카메라 시스템 또는 safety-critical 애플리케이션 경험

- 대규모 데이터 세트 처리 및 분석 경험
- Experience in the development of autonomous vehicles or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS)
- Experience in developing object recognition algorithms using machine learning and deep learning
- Experience with automotive-grade camera systems or safety-critical applications
- Experience in camera hardware design and optimization
- Experience in processing and analyzing large-scale datasets
